GRAHAM MCGILLIVRAY
B.Sc., M.B.A, LL.B. - Associate
Graham has practiced law with Landry McGillivray since 2013, starting as an articled clerk. A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Graham obtained his law degree and Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie and previously obtained his Bachelor of Science from King’s College. He now splits his time between Halifax and Edmonton and is a member of the bars of both Nova Scotia and Alberta.
Graham’s practice is focused in the areas of corporate and commercial law and wills, estates, and trusts.
In the area of corporate and commercial law, Graham helps clients at all stages of their businesses, whether starting a business, growing, or selling a business. Graham brings commercial common sense to his practice, helping clients seize opportunities and minimize risks.
In the area of wills, estates, and trusts, Graham helps clients develop estate plans that are tailored to their diverse needs. Graham believes that the value of a good estate plan isn’t just in the “final product” – having their will, power of attorney, and other documents done – but in the process taken to get there. By working with clients to consider their current and future lifestyle needs, family situations, retirement plans, and business and tax situations, Graham helps clients develop a complete estate plan that provides real peace of mind. Graham also helps executors and beneficiaries with estate administration matters and advises clients on trusts outside the estate context.
